Software
With the single push of a button, testing both the optical transmitter parameters and bit error rate receiver sensitivity of an optical transceiver are made possible. The ML7007-100G & ML7007-400G Series Productivity automation software run on a laptop, control the test equipment, execute the tests, and generate a summary test report with pass/fail information, without any human intervention.

Optical Transmitter Test
The ML7007 software performs optical transmitter measurements including eye diagram, extinction ratio, mask margin, average optical power, optical modulation amplitude, etc.
Optical Receiver Sensitivity
The ML7007 software automates receiver sensitivity characterization, measuring the bit-error rate while sweeping the AOP or OMA.
Report Generation with Pass/Fail Results
When tests are done, a report with Pass/Fail verdicts is automatically generated and saved locally or on the cloud. This makes it easy to identify good and bad modules.
